Irmarie Cotto Ramos, PROTECT Trainee at the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez (Project 4), recently attended the “Fourth International Conference on Emerging Contaminants in the Environment (EmCon2014)” held in Iowa City on August 19-22, 2014. She received an outstanding poster award for her presentation on “Detection and Monitoring of Phthalates in Source Groundwater”. We are very proud of her work and thank her for representing PROTECT in such an outstanding manner.
