The National Center for Environmental Assessment, part of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Research and Development, is advertising a training opportunity (fellowship not to exceed 3 years) that may be of interest to post-docs, research fellows, PhD and masters students.
The position will be located in Arlington, VA in the US EPA Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS) office at Potomac Yards. The candidate will learn about EPA’s IRIS program and assist in preparing IRIS Toxicological Reviews. This opportunity is perfect for scientists interested in learning more about risk assessment and communicating science information to experts and non-experts. We are looking for people with expertise in toxicology or related fields (e.g. molecular biology, pharmacology, neuroscience, cancer research), epidemiology, statistics, or risk assessment, and communication and who are interested in participating in this exciting opportunity. This position is a non-laboratory position and will be filled on a first-come basis. U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status is preferred.
